Coke Studio pays touching tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan

Coke Studio shared its latest song “Aye Rah-e-Haq- Ke Shaheedo” on 4th August on various social websites and electronic, as a promo to kick-start Season 9. The song captioned, “Dedicated to those who sacrificed their todays for our tomorrows”, pays a soul-stirring homage to the valiant martyrs of Pakistani soil.

The song features one of the finest and popular singers, including Late Amjad Sabri, legendary Abida Parveen, Rahat Fateh Ali, Naseebo Lal, as well as, Naeem Abbas, Zeb Bangash, Ahmed Jahanzeb, Sanam Marvi, Ali Azmat, Meesha Shafi, Noori, Quratulain Baloch, Faakhir and Jaswal Brothers. The composition is not only remarkable but the singing done by all renowned singers, in their own style is novel and innovative.

The three-minute tears and shiver jerking redo version of “Aye Rah-e-Haq-Ke Sheheedo”, was originally sung by Naseem Begum in 1960’s. The redo version of the song has reached almost 5 million views on Facebook alone. The Tribute song to the martyrs of Pakistan, reverberating with nationalism made it to the top trends on social networking website, Twitter with the hashtag: #CokeStudio9.

Facebook and Twitter, both were inundated with numerous comments and tweets, by sentimental fans, soon after the release of the Tribute song by Coke Studio. People praised Coke Studio for the soulful tribute.

The Coke Studio season 9 is scheduled to air from August 13th, 2016, a day before Independence Day.
